Have you ever counted how many pieces of clothing you have at home? And how many of them do you actually wear?
The Revitalizing Old Clothes Eco-Carnival is themed around upcycling, reusing, and mending old garments. Green Sham Shui Po will help adjust ill-fitting clothes and give new life to old fabric scraps and leftover yarn by transforming them into practical and aesthetically pleasing eco-products, reducing waste. Through talks, we will teach participants how to differentiate between 'needs' and 'wants', detach from materialistic obsessions and cravings, learn proper recycling methods, and encourage the public to actively practice waste reduction at the source and cultivate sustainable green living habits in their daily lives.
What are you waiting for? Mark your calendars and bring your family and friends to experience the benefits of sustainable green living and together, let's build a beautiful green community.
